Continental Eagle Corporation has ceased negotiations with Lummus Corporation and terminated the preliminary agreement reached between the parties.

Continental Eagle will continue the uninterrupted operation of its Prattville, Alabama facility and its branches across the Cotton Belt.  Continental Eagle’s dedication to quality and service has been developed throughout the Company’s 175 year history in the ginning business and the Company and our employees will continue to devote all energy to meet our customer’s expectations. Innovative research and development for new products, quality manufacturing, parts availability and superior service will continue to be the focus of Continental Eagle and, as always, Continental Eagle will strive to better serve the Ginning Industry.
